I think you all know Quinn by now, she is the little girl who also has Niemann Pick Type A like Trek did. I have fallen in love with her, as I know many of you have. I have been wanting to do something for her ever since we were introduced to her a few months ago. I finally found the perfect thing!
After weeks of searching every market we have come across (much to the boys’ dismay-ha!). We finally found a fun fundraising item, that reminded us of sweet Quinn. These are beautiful Thai anklets that all of the babies and toddlers in Thailand wear around their ankles. They reminded me of Quinn the first time I saw them, and I have been searching for the perfect ones for this occasion, and I found them at the market by our house!
Quinn has a list. A list of wonderful, fun, and girly things to do in her little life. I thought we could all help her cross a couple things off of that list with a Thailand fundraiser for Quinn!
If you want to help Quinn cross some things off of her list, here are some wonderful things you can use these beautiful little charms for-
-the baby in your life! I love how cute little baby feet look with these little dangles, even the baby boys wear them. They would be a great for a photo shoot!
-to keep up with your toddler. These little things have bells on them, so you can hear your little walker jingling around, they couldn’t hide if they wanted to:)
-a bracelet for a little girl. A little girl would love to wear this beautiful little Thai bracelet around! I had the boys try it on and it fit easily over their hand. I think it would fit the wrist of a child up to 12 years old.
-if you don’t have a baby, then you can still use one! You can hang it somewhere in your house or in car, or even on a magnet on your refrigerator, to remember to send all of your love and prayers to Quinn.
-a gift for someone you love. I will package it up and send it to anyone you choose! It would be such a fun surprise for them to get a package all the way from Thailand complete with cool stamps!
If you want to support Quinn in this way, just let me know and I would love to send your Thailand anklet to you! I will then send your thoughtful gift to Quinn and her family so they can focus on Quinn and her fun life.

I will be taking orders for 1 week until Monday, March 4th. I will get your beautiful anklet in the mail by the end of next week when I send Quinn her own anklet, and all the money we raised for her! I will also include a card with all of the names of the people who supported her in this way.

What a wonderful fundraiser for Quinn! My daughters fell In Love with them one is 9 and the other is 16 and we were all watching her on the news last night and they both said that they had wanted one when they saw your post. Unfortunately we were unable to attend her last fundraiser so we thought that this would bet perfect to support Quinn In getting so of those Girly Things that every little girl should have. Chelsea – I saw that one of Quinn’s TO DO items is a family trip to Maine. Eric and I are from Maine (most of our family still there, we roadtrip back a couple of times a year). Eric’s parents have a great farm (horses, chickens, dogs & cat, garden, frog pond, lake to swim) with lots of space. Now I dont know Quinn’s family, and perhaps they have already done this trip. But if you speak with her (or she reads this), please tell them we plan to go back this summer (date TBA) and if I can do anything to coordinate or otherwise facilitate a trip to Maine…I would love to help. Eric’s parents have a lot of room at the farm (a whole wing filled with bunkbeds, just for guests)…perhaps they could use it as a getaway. My family is in the Portland area, and we can get them beds at my mom’s. They dont know me from any other stranger (and you can tell them what a well-intentioned, over-talking goof can be!)…but feel free to pass my email address to them if I can help. And if we can get you and your boys there for us all to play together…yahoo!
We could also dip Quinn’s toes in the ocean (on her list) where Eric & I got married…I know all the great beaches. We can help them take a ferry out to an island, build a Fairy House, visit LLBean, pet a live lobster…any other Maine things they think of!
