We have been busy dreaming and planning these last couple of weeks. It has been exciting, yet sometimes hard since I am very comfortable right now and even though I am ready to move on to a new place, I am not ready for the actual moving part, saying goodbye and packing up is always hard.

One day over lunch we were discussing our options when Jarrett’s Thai cell phone rang. It was probably only the second time it has rang ever, since we use it just to call our family, so it was a shock. A Thailand university that Jarrett had applied to weeks before called to offer him a job teaching English in a beach town in the south of Thailand. We practically skipped out of the restaurant, that was just what we were hoping for-it was perfect.

So we leave Pai in 3 weeks to make the 3 day journey down to Suran Thani, Thailand. We are excited to be by the ocean again and to leave Pai right when it starts to get cold here. We have avoided buying pants yet again!

That was the perfect deadline for Following After Trek, it is on its final edit and we have the cover of the book up on Jarrett’s website. It is beautiful-the cover and the book.

I have been thinking, thinking, thinking of a million ways to get his book printed in paperback. It was surprisingly very expensive. We know so many of our friends and family and the world do not have Kindles so we have to find a way. I know so many people want to read his book and we want all of you too also!

I think I have found a way.

I have a plan and it is almost done and then I can share it with the world. I am so excited to see this book come to the end. I am glad to have it out of my hands and into yours. It has been a very emotional book to go through with Jarrett. I am so glad we have captured all of Trek while he is still so fresh and real in our minds.

The other day in dire need of some time away from thinking about the book and the future we hit up two caves. It was so beautiful and fun and the perfect break!

the beautiful temple right outside the cave. I still can’t believe we live here!
