Our house has a pond down the lane where we can fish and swim. We have fished a few times, but we never catch anything even though we can see fish everywhere! Oh well, it is super fun to swim in.
the walk from our house to the pond
the boys fishing with homemade poles that Jarrett made. This is a little house the family we rent from built for their grandma when she visits
Peyton is his cute european swim trunks fishing
the house in the back is where the sweet family we rent from lives
while we were playing Wow (our neighbor) brought us over some Thai milk tea-we all liked it, but Conner loved it!
checking his pole-still no fish
time to move on to more exciting things
go Conner go!
go Peyton!
splash!
they must have begged Jarrett to throw them a hundred times-hehe
one more time!
a rainbow while we were playing, being in such a beautiful place right now has been so good for my heart, we see reminders of Trek everywhere
And you always will will sweet Momma! Love you bunches…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the super cute and fun pictures of the boys!
thanks Nancy-xoxo
Your family’s story is so inspirational. If you ever make it down to Bangkok and need someone to show you around town, I’d be honored.
thank you so much Robin, that is so sweet and thoughtful, I will let you know if we ever head that way! xoxo
Every time I see a rainbow, I feel like the gates to the afterlife have opened up just a crack and I get to see the a glimpse of all those I’ve loved who have gone beyond.
i totally agree Cat, we see them all the time and I feel Trek each time too
hahah my and preston are cracking up over the throwing pictures! You always get the best action shots, you take the best pictures! Love it! Looks so fun and peaceful there, I am so glad it is a place you are able to heal better. I hope every place you go from here on out is a perfect place at the pefect timing for you and your boys. I think of each of you and sweet Trek all the time and miss you all lots.
oh sweet preston-would he have like being thrown? I can’ remember if he likes that kind of stuff or not? I agree this is the most peaceful place, i feel so happy here. love you sister
not so sure Preston would allow that, one time a random person threw him in a pool and he freaked out and ran to me and told on the guy haha. He was very upset and disturbed;)
PS. That one of Peyton’s face is simply amazing…sooooo handsome!!
bahaha, my poor nephew:( I would never do it to him then! I would just splash around and bring him a poolside snack:) love you
Fantastic pictures! It looks incredible and so very fun!
thanks Maria, it was so nice to be able to stay home and go do something fun! xoxo
I love these pictures!! Awesome! I know it’s beautiful there and Peyton and Conner are incredibly photogenic, but I have to ask what kind of camera you are using. It captures those mid-air moments great!
PS – rainbows are carry a message with them. <3

here’s my camera! and I know about the rainbows-so special:)
Thanks!
Too cute! I am also wondering what kind of camera you are using because those photos of them in the air jumping are amazing.
thank you so much Maggie, it is a Canon Rebel XT. I ordered it used from Amazon for $250, but they have a newer version brand new for $450. I have really liked it and got lucky the owner before me took great care of it (unlike me!) so it was like new when I got it. thanks about the pictures
As many people say, my dad included, (he loved fishing) ‘it’s called fishing for a reason, because if you always got something it would be called catching’
Lots of fun trying though! xx
That should say loves, not loved! Thankfully my daddy is still with me!
bahahaha-so true
Wow what an adventure! If you told someone you were driving to Hana by a moped they would say “your crazy”. I am sure the check point people were shaking their heads once you left:) I love the last shot of the pump of the arm, you sure did it!
haha, they actually were kinda laughing at us at the check points-hehe. and yes Jarrett was so funny with his fist pump-it was a triumphant moment!
Best pictures ever!!!! You should be a professional photographer Chelsea. What a great family day at the lake. Xoxo
thank you so much Shannon, that is so sweet and makes me feel good! Jarrett told me that the other day, but I just like taking pictures of the boys-they do the best things so its so easy:) xoxo
So fun. I love how you captured their jumps! I think of you often. I agree with Amanda that pic of Peyton….so handsome! We love you…keep jumping! X0
thanks Shannon, we love you too-can’t wait to make it to Cali to give you a big hug and go on a coffee date:)
AWESOME pictures, Chelsea! I love the one of Peyton “walking on water” and the splash picture is amazing! It’s astounding to me, not having ever met any of you, how I can see the changes in the boys as they get older. The close up of Peyton is so a mini-Jarrett, isn’t it? How sweet is that rainbow? I think it is Trek’s smile! xoxo
thanks CAthy, I think it was Trek’s smile to joining in our fun:) I also love that picture of Peyton on the water-he is so athletic!
Awesome photos! Looks like everyone had a fun-filled day.
Peyton looks so handsome in that close up photo. Both your boys are cutie-pies.
thank you so much Marie-I think the same thing about your 2. xoxo
Thai milk tea ~ does it have real milk in it? I’m wondering since Conner drank so much of it & if it bothered him. Fun day at the pond and fun pics. Does Peyton plan on cleaning & eating a fish if he catches it? Keep embracing life, sweetie! Lots of love!
yes it has milk (i think) and it did not seem to bother him-thankfully! we did not catch any fish so we will never know who would have got stuck cleaning the guts! hehe love you aunt jalene
The Fourth Graders say that looks like a lot of fun and they want to do this too. They want to come there for a field trip…ha ha!!
hehe, that is so cute! oh field trips-those were the days and the best part about school-tell them we all said hi! xoxo
