When Peyton turned 1 year old Jarrett and I joked, “we kept him alive a whole year!”.
So I am now crying sad tears because my baby is growing up and tears of joy that we kept him alive 7 whole years!!!
I do not have enough words to describe how amazing of a little boy Peyton is. He is the kindest most thoughtful baby in the world. We don’t use time-outs or any other kinds of punishments, but if we did I would have never had to bother with one-he is truly soo good! What did I do to deserve him!?
He is so brave-he will climb any mountain or run through any jungle (barefoot)
He is so handsome-if I had a dollar for every Thai woman that kissed him (he does not like this part of living here!) I would be a millionaire
He is so thoughtful-he always knows when I am sad about Trek and comes and hugs me and he is always pointing Trek out in every butterfly or beautiful sunset that we see
He is the best brother-he adored Trek and misses him so much and Conner is one lucky guy to have someone so patient and loving to put up with his (for lack of a better word) “stinkerness”
He is a pure soul-this story will tell it all:
Peyton was holding tight riding behind me on the moped. We were talking as we usually do about all kinds of things. We started to talk about how he could maybe stand up for himself more. About how if someone else is wrong or hurting you, to tell them and make sure you are treated fairly even if that makes the other person upset. Peyton was so torn, this sounded so hard to him. I asked him what he thought he should do? He asked to think about it. We drove on in silence for 5 minutes. He then said, “Mama, I want to find a way to let someone know they hurt me without causing a fight”.

4 years old-Maui baby
the night of his 4th year on earth
5 years old!
5 1/2 years-a big brother again
6 years of Maui love and sun
his 7th birthday and his new phone! now he can call all his friends and family in America any time he wants (sorry for all the people he woke up that day, he is not worried about such things as time differences)

i am so glad you commented, I have been meaning to let you know that Peyton told me when we were cruising around onthe moped that he wanted to go back to Nicaragua so that he could do yoga with Grace:) he was really serious about his yoga!
So I am sitting here looking at this and my 6 year old daughter came in. She saw Peyton’s baby picture and said, “Who is that? Oh, it’s Trek?”. Yep, they look alike for sure!!!

I am crying because I agree with every single word! I am also crying because I miss those boys so much it hurts me. You have created 3 of the most beautiful sweetest unique and pure boys I have ever known. Tell Peyton Auntie is so very proud of him and who he is. Tell him I wish I could just hug him and play with him! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of that special day he was born, it was so perfect! i’m so lucky to be their Auntie! love you sis.
