We were on a moped adventure driving to nowhere on the look out for anything, when we came across a bridge and we pulled over. The scenery was amazing, it was the hour before sunset and everything had a magical glow. I noticed another couple had pulled over and were exploring and taking pictures as well. It was like that spot was calling to our cameras.

The girl was walking through rice paddys and grass fields snapping pictures, she even snapped some of Jarrett and Conner zooming by on their motorbike. I almost followed her to the fields, but I was drawn to the open road and how Peyton’s shadow reached across to the other side.

So I did what every responsible mother would do, I told Peyton he could play in the middle of the freeway and I told Jarrett to yell when a car came.
