Just a few kilometers from town is the most amazing waterfall. We took our motorbikes through the amazing Laos countryside to hike up to see it. To our joy we also got to swim in it! We stayed there all day, relaxing in the sun and exploring the many levels of the falls and river-it was grand!
across the bridge to a start the hike to the falls
view from the bridge
bridge #2
hundreds and hundreds of stairs to the top
5 water breaks later-we made it! (sweet, sweet brothers)
Jarrett wasted no time and hopped right in
it was so powerful, i pretty sure it could snap your neck if you got right under it
Conner and his stick trying to catch dragonflies
my zen Peyton, stacking stonesĀ
it was so invigorating! I just closed my eyes and laid back, it took my breath away
a perfect depiction of my 2 sons-Peyton fixing the damn and Conner making it a set of drums
Jarrett as Snow White-the animals of the forest flock to him
Conner and the stick
it was so amazing!
mist from the waterfall
Peyton telling me, “yeah, we get to slide down it!”
